Animal Liberation: Theory and Practice

A Reading Group

The aim of this reading group is to bring into dialogue activists and academics committed to the cause of animal liberation and thereby create a space within which to share experiences and test new ideas.

Topics of conversation may include: tactics and strategy, theories of social change, methods of persuasion, the psychology of meat-eating, the history of the animal rights movement, the building of alliances between different justice movements, etc.

Meetings will either consist of a group discussion on a text, podcast, or video shared in advance, or we will be hosting a guest speaker. You may find our schedule here.
